Emma Marie

Age 77, of Pittsburgh,
Peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on Friday, May 21st, 2021.

Emma always walked with The Lord. Her closeness to Him created qualities in her that allowed her to be a loving person and to be able to speak with truth in her heart and to be forgiving. The person she was and those qualities she possessed was used to pour love into her family and friends with her quite strength. She will be laid to rest in Dubois, PA next to her parents and grandparents.

The reward for her obedience and God’s Grace is beyond measure. Her peaceful transition, with her daughters and grandson by her side, allows her to be in her Heavenly home which is even closer to God.

She spent her final hours thinking of others and wanting all that knew her to know that she appreciated and loved them for being in her life.

In addition, she spent that time continuing to create memories of love. She is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Marie Lovejoy and her husband James and Brandi Lynn Davis.
She is the adoring grandmother of Daylon (who she shared a special bond and held her hand as she transitioned home), Kaderra, Kaylynn and Victoria and Ethan. She was proud of each of them and prayed every day for success and happiness over their lives.
She is also survived by her dear friend and former husband Andrew Davis.
She will be missed by her great support base of loved ones.

Some fun facts about Emma that you may or may not know are: she was commissioned in 1964 as an officer in the Salvation Army as part of the Heroes of the Faith Session. She was also a bar tender, nursing aid, and more; Emma loved trees, planes, cheesecake, McDonald’s shakes and cheeseburgers, Steve Harvey and most of all the Steelers.

A good mother, Mrs. Davis rears and raises good children and I thank you. I only know Crystal, and to know Crystal is to love her. Proverbs 31 talks about a virtuous woman, it says strength and honour are her clothing. She openeth her mouth with wisdom and Crystal possess all of these fine qualities and more. I pray for special courage, peace and love for the family. Rest in peace Mrs. Davis, thy good and faithful servant!
