Obituary for Pamela J. Bradburn

Bradburn
Pamela Jean

We are sad to announce the passing of Pamela Jean Bradburn of Bellevue, PA. Pam left us peacefully at the age of 71, on May 18, 2023.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 11, 1951, Pam was the first of four daughters. The family moved to New Berlin, Wisconsin when she was two years old, and where she started school at the tender age of three. In the early 60’s the family moved again to the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, which became Pam’s permanent home. Pam graduated from Fox Chaple High School in 1969. Her first job was with the Joseph Horne Company. She left the retail business a few years later and began a career as a Medical Claims Specialist for MetLife, working in the US Steel building. Pam then moved on to work for United Healthcare, and during that time she met and married her husband, Kevin, and became a loving stepmother to two young boys. She ended her career working for CDS Administrators, and officially retired in 2017.

Pam was very creative. She enjoyed sewing, especially quilting, and often gifted her work to family and friends, as was her extremely generous nature. She also enjoyed her collections of various beautiful and unique items that were displayed around her home. Pam visited and loved the southwest. Among her numerous tattoos, many represented this passion. Other tattoos represented her love of family and pets. Pam also had a great appreciation for music, she loved going to craft fairs, playing bingo, and casino visits with her besties. Then there was her love of....cats! She had so many beloved felines over the years they can’t even be listed. Pam was known for her sharp wit and her unique sense of humor – anyone who knew her can attest to that.

Pam will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ronald (Kevin) Still; her stepson, Jeremy Still; her sisters, Kathleen Bradburn (Steven Hurlbut), Susan (Mark Coleman), and Jayne (Greg Murphy); her nieces Cassandra Hurlbut, Kailey Murphy and Michaela Coleman; her nephew Aidan Murphy; her stepmother Jocelyn Bradburn; her stepsiblings Nora (Joseph Richards), Jonathan Ray and Jennifer Ray, and her brother in law Adam Still. She is also survived by many beloved cousins from both sides of her family. She will also be dearly missed by her friends Debbie Kolaric, Cindy Kasper, Joanne Norman, Jan Gieder and Kim Neumeyer. Pam also had many co-workers who were special to her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Ruth M. (Beese) and William J. Bradburn; her in laws Norma J. (Allison) and Albert G. Still; and her stepson Nathan Still.
As per Pam’s request, no funeral services will be held. To honor her memory, there will be a celebration of life held in late August. We will reach out with details as they become available.
