Stella Marie (Loverde) Buechel
January 15, 1933 - September 1, 2022
Stella, age 89, of Pittsburgh, passed away at her home on September 1, 2022. She was born
on January 15, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Joseph and Hazel Loverde. She was also
preceded in death by her sister, Marceline Warner. Stella is survived by her two daughters,
Anita Topel and Marla (Patrick) Fischetti; and four grandchildren, Rosano (Rafaela) Fischetti,
Stefano (Bryenne) Fischetti, Giancarlo Fischetti and Sofia Fischetti. She is also survived by her two brothers,
Samuel Loverde and Joseph Loverde; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and even caregivers who became like family.
All who knew her loved her, and would attest to her sweet personality. Although known for
many things (her delicious cooking and hospitality, her love of family, friends, laughter and
music), she was known for her love of God. She was able to fight her illness with dignity and
strength, fully confident in Jehovah God's promise of a resurrection hope on a paradise earth.
For nearly fifty years, she shared such bible truths with everyone she could. She will be greatly
missed.
